Welcome to MSK LAB! We’re assembling a high-energy team that will redefine what batteries can do for robots, electric vehicles, grid storage, and more. If you’re eager to solve high-impact problems at the intersection of lithium batteries, advanced electrolytes, electrode interphases, operando characterization, and AI-driven discoveries, we want to hear from you.

Our mission is to unlock the next generation of high-energy, durable batteries by designing battery interphases and merging bold experimentation with AI-driven insights that accelerate the deployment of high-energy batteries for a sustainable, electrified world.
Who we are looking for
We welcome postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and motivated undergraduates with expertise in any of the following (or related) areas:

Electrochemistry & liquid/solid-state science

Chemistry & materials synthesis/characterization

Computational modeling, machine learning, and AI for battery material discoveries

Mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering focused on energy storage
